Wow, time is already flying past! We've been home for 2 weeks now, although it feels like one really long weekend with lots of naps. Travis has been home the whole time - yay!!- but is headed back to work tomorrow. So, this is a good time to recap what's been going on around here lately.
1) Napping. Lots of napping. :) Sierra has been a wonderful baby and has slept SO well at night. Of course, Mamaw (Grandma Cherry) has been her night-time buddy, which has let Mama & Papa catch a few more zzzs. GiGi (Grandma Cindi) has been our day-time buddy, keeping Mama sane and the house in order. Yay for Grandmas!!!!!
2) Diapers. Lots of diapers. This has been an extra sp
ecial project at our house, since we've ventured out into the world of cloth diapering! Yeah, it's back! And it's not the old flat rags of previous generations. Here's a sample of the different types of diapers we have in the stash now. The bottom two (a fitted on the left and a prefold on the right) are our main choices right now while she's still so little. The fancier diapers on top are pocket/all-in-one styles that she'll need to grow into. Laundry hasn't been bad at all- newborn poo is eeeeeeasy! (that will get more fun in a few months). And of course, we need a pic of the little model.
